The Load Test allows the Customer to draw the characteristic curve of the motor under test. It’s possible to set the initial and final load values and the number of points and the System ATC320/W will apply to the motor in test different loads and acquire the measurement for each one. At the end of the test it will be shown the torque-speed characteristic curve of the motor in test. The international standard IEC 60034-2-1 requires to do a load test after that the motor has reached the thermal equilibrium and then to perform the Temperature Rated Load Test. In any case it’s always possible to perform before the test warming phase of the winding, in which the Customer decides to apply a certain load, voltage and temperature target. Reached this temperature, the system automatically starts the test set.
The picture on the right shows the interface (in this case, graphic and table) of the test results, which are the Torque, the Speed, the Mechanical Power, the Current, the Voltage, the Current Density, the Power, the CosFI and the motor Efficiency.
