Start-up Test at Reduced Voltage

During the Start-Up test the Blocked Rotor Current and the Start-Up time are measured. During the Start-Up phase the system acquires without any mechanical device connected to the motor shaft the curve of Current and Voltage and calculates the real time RMS values. These curves acquired can be displayed, printed and stored. Start-Up time is defined as the time to reach a value of current equal to the 1,2 times the No-load current. The inrush time is defined as the time at which the current in phase, decreasing after the initial starting point, assumes the value equal to +20% of the rated current.
