The instrument 8270 has been designed for the measurement of the insulation resistance on electromechanical equipment such as: motors, appliances, components and electrical systems (CE Mark).
The test voltage is set to 500 Vdc and the values of resistance can be measured from 0.5 to 20.000 Mohm. Products can be tested with or without reference to earth.
This model is equipped with limit comparators using GO/NO GO signalling which can be set to any value within the measurement range. It can be used for manual tests with an operator as well in automatic line tests.
