The passive powder brakes are suitable for testing AC-DC low speed motors (with gear box) from 1W to 2-3KW with low speeds and high torque.
The main characteristics of these brakes are:
- Very high torque with reduced brake dimension
- Excellent torque control also when the motor is not running.
- The residual torque is less than 5% of the maximum torque
These brakes can be associated to different types of e.d.c. systems (ATC, TC2, TAC, AMT, PAE, ATS, ...) and are proposed on the base of the range of motors to be tested and on the tests that the Customer wants to perform.
